White Station Middle School

White Station Middle School is a member of the Memphis City Schools system. The grades there are 6th-8th grades. The principal, Eric Sullivan, took over during the 2007-2008 school year. The mascot is a spartan; the school colors green and gray. It has two administrators, Lionel Cable and Charlotte Danley. It has a strict dress code; no black on black, no shirts with more than three buttons, and you may not wear green or gray shirts or jackets unless you order them from the school. Otherwise your shirts must be black or white. All undershirts worn under the uniform shirts must be solid white. Bottoms must be khaki, navy, or black. You may wear skirts and shorts, but they must come to your knees.

New to the 2008-2009 school year: students must wear identification badges. These badges have a scanner on them so teachers and other faculty can scan students who are late to class or school, out of uniform, or otherwise misbehaving. If students are caught late or out of uniforms excessively they will be dealt with appropriately. Punishments can include a parent conference, In School Suspension, Detention, or over-night suspension. If a student loses or defaces the badge, he/she must pay 5 dollars to replace it. The green lanyards are 2 dollars.

Also new to the 2008-2009 year, they are actually having stuff for Homecoming. That includes, wearing your favorite sports teams' shirt on Monday the 15th and on Tuesday the 16th wearing green and gray shirts, which do not have to be uniform, with your favorite pair of jeans. There will be a pep rally on Wednesday.
