Cocody

Cocody, is an upmarket suburb of Abidjan, marked by its abundance of mansions. Cocody is where most of the wealthy business people, ambassadors, and other affluent people live. The Université de Cocody [1] is located in Cocody.

Additionally, a native food of Cote D'Ivoire, the alloco, can be purchased here at the allocodrome de Cocody.

In 1965 a film was released entitled Man from Cocody.

Alpha Blondy wrote a song about Cocody, called Cocody Rock.
