Hard Truck is a series of trucking simulators, published in the
United States byValuSoft . The series currently has 3 released installments, with a fourth to be released soon.Hard Truck
were simple, usually had 2 or 3 routes to reach the destination, and had no traffic model.

Hard Truck 2
Very similar to the first, but more of an emphasis on delivery of goods.
Police are added to themaps , but still no traffic model. Interestingly, thepolice only give chase for a limited time period, after which they simply give up and dispatch amachine gun crazyhelicopter to attempt to slow you down. Once they've demolished yourtruck , they write you out a simple ticket. The game is more similar to than to Hard Truck.Trucks

A completely different take on the hard truck games, developed by the
Russia n developer Targem, released onJune 26 ,2006 , this game takes place in an apocalyptic,Mad Max like future. A disaster occurred and everyone on Earth has to wear special masks to survive. You can still perform trade runs between villages to make money however, the main method for making money is to loot destroyed enemies of cargo and weapons.The game takes place in an apocalyptic version of
Europe , with different zones depicting countries likeGermany ,France ,England , and many more. You can drive a total of five vehicles, from a simpleVan to the giganticBelAZ . Hard Truck Apocalypse: Rise of the Clans
The official standalone expansion to Hard Truck Apocalypse, also developed by
Russia n developer Targem. It has not been released in western stores yet, but you can buy and download it online at [http://www.gamersgate.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=146&category_id=10&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=14 Gamer's Gate] . It takes place in an apocalyptic version of North America. In the game you are a vagrant, a strong loner who is searching for the mythical city ofEdmonton in "le canada".The game reuses a lot of material from HTA; however, most of the vehicles, weapons, & enemies are the same. There are four brand new zones and a whole new storyline.
