The station features three local sports talk shows, beginning with long-time Eugene talk radio icon, Steve Tannen. His show SportsTalk is followed by The Writer's Block with sports columnist for The Register-Guard George Schroeder and KSCR's Justin Myers. Myers continues with his afternoon drive program, The Sports Idol.

History

The station went on the air as KZAM on 1985-08-20. on 1990-05-01, the station changed its call sign to KHNN, on 1992-10-01 to KZZK, on 1995-09-29 to KNRQ, on 2001-04-26 to the current KSCR.
