About the Show

Science has never been so much fun!

Welcome to Eureka TV - CBBC's brand new series which will amaze, amuse and astonish you."Eureka", meaning "I have found it", was famously uttered by an ancient Greek called Archimedes, when he stepped into his bath and saw the water level rise.

That famous phrase is now being uttered by a fully-clothed Fearne Cotton and Kate Heavenor, the dynamic duo who together present this show.

Each programme will bring you plenty of Eureka moments. From the thrill and excitement of discovery and invention, to the principles of science behind everyday occurrences. There's also the kind of science you can do at home - DIY optical illusions and neat tricks to play on your friends, as well as the magic of nature and 'big' science using special effects - from how tornadoes work to the deadly effects of debris in space!
