----Each Little Bird That Sings is a 2005 award-winning book aimed for children aged 9-13.This book is by Deborah Wiles the author of the award winning Love, Ruby Lavender The plot is about a girl named Comfort Snowberger whose family lives in a funeral home. It is owned by her family. She has a best friend named Declaration, and a snot nosed cousin named Peach. When Uncle Edisto and Aunt Florentine dies, there's only one person who really takes it seriously--Peach. And when Declaration suddenly turns downright mean, she realizes that a true friend was there all along-- Peach. Comfort has a dog named Dismay. She also has and older brother called Tidings and a younger sister called Merry. In this story Comfort goes through hard feelings but with lots of surprises. Here she has to take care of her cousin through the troubles.
