SSI Model

SSI Model

The SSI Model is a pre RFP/ITO market research tool used to conduct market research predominately in ICT space. It's abbreviation means Subject Matter Expertise, Site Visits & Industry consultation.

Prior to releasing an RFP/ITO to the market, it is important to understand the market in general and this model provides a holistic approach to conducting research. This model was developed by Philip Grech and has been used in numerous locations in both Canada and Australia. Most recently however, it was used by the Queensland Police Services to conduct their market research exercise prior to releasing a tender to the market plan.
