May 29 ,1970 inStranraer ) is a Scottish former footballer who played as amidfielder . McSkimming began his career with Dundee in 1987 and managed over twenty league appearances during his four years atDens Park . He moved to Kilmarnock in 1991 and made over 100 league appearances during three years atRugby Park .McSkimming moved to Motherwell in 1994 and managed 63 league appearances during a four-year spell, before moving back to first club Dundee in 1998. Ironically, McSkimming played exactly the same number of league games before moving in July 2001 to the
United States withAtlanta Silverbacks . On his return to Scotland in 2002, McSkimming began a short spell with Peterhead, leaving at the end of the 2001-02 season only to return at the start of the following season. He retired from playing in 2005 but stayed on in a coaching capacity with the club.ee also
