History

Department of Pharmacy of Jahangirnagar University was established in 1987 with a total number of 11 undergraduate students. Established after 25 years of establishment of department of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka, it is the 2nd oldest pharmacy school in Bangladesh.". [cite web

Admission

The admission process in department of pharmacy, Jahangirnagar University is very competitive. The admission test is held by the University once in a year. The test evaluate the applicants ability in Bangla, English, Chemistry and Biology. For undergraduate admission, the department requires a minimum total GPA 6.5 in HSC and SSC for sitting on the admission test. Besides, the applicant should also have a minimum GPA 3.00 both in SSC and HSC with B grade in Chemistry and Biology both in SSC & HSC and D grade in Math/Statistics in HSC.". [cite web

BPSA(Bangladesh Pharmacy students Association)

It is the pharmacy students organization of Bangladesh. Anyone who is studying pharmacy in any accredited pharmacy school in Bangladesh is considered as a member of BPSA.

ELP

Organization of students who eager to learn advanced English. Any student of Department of Pharmacy, Jahangirnagar University can become a member. 2 Classes are held in week on english. Students don't have to pay for the classes.
