Lynda Durrant

Lynda Durrant (born December 17, 1954) [ [http://www.orrt.org/durrant/ Ohio Reading Road Trip | Lynda Durrant Biography ] ] is the author of several children's books, including ' (1998), "Turtle Clan Journey" (1999), "Echohawk" (1996), "Betsy Zane, the Rose of Fort Henry" (2000), and ' (2003). Personal life

Durrant was born in Virginia, but raised in Ohio by her parents Oliver and Shirley. At the age of 22, she received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Washington, and in 1979 she received her Master's. She later married Wesley Lemmon, and had one child.
