Rothbury Music Festival

The Rothbury Music Festival was a four-day music festival in Rothbury, Michigan, at the Double JJ Ranch. The first year of the festival occurred over the July 4th holiday weekend, 2008. The festival is intended to promote sustainability and promote overall improvements to the environment. It has been hailed as a great success with an estimated 50,000 in attendance.

Notable Performers

*With the announcement of the Kyle Hollingsworth Band, all six members of the String Cheese Incident will be present in separate bands. Bill Nershi is playing with the Emmitt Nershi Band, EOTO is comprised of Jason Hann and Michael Travis, Keith Moseley is in the WMD's who will accompany Keller Williams, and Michael Kang will be playing with Panjea.
*Three of the four members of Phish will be present, Mike Gordon, Jon Fishman, and Trey Anastasio. This also marks the first time Trey has played since December 2006. The addition of Trey to the lineup has led to some speculation about a Phish reunion. However, this was dispelled by Page, the missing member in a letter released on June 26, 2008. He did however hint of the possibility of major band discussions later in the year: http://phish.com/news/index.php?year=2008#story396 .
