Siege of Doriskos

Siege of Doriskos: In the Siege of Doriskos, the Delian League fought the retreating Persian Empire. The Greeks wanted to deplete all the Persian garrisons in Thrace. After some months they succeeded. This was one of the last Persian garrisons to remain in Europe before they were all destroyed.
