Biography
Born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Beranek currently resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico and runs Lead Pipe Entertainment. He is producing several projects with Ahmet Zappa at Disney via the Kingdom Comics banner.[1] His graphic novel credits include Dracula vs. King Arthur and Silent Forest. He wrote, produced and starred in the 2004 indie film Caucasian Brown and has acted in several shorts for Pdflo Films.
Beranek has developed prequel and origin material for the films Seven, Babylon A.D. and Max Payne.[2]
In addition, Beranek plays guitar and sings. He is in the process of recording an album of his material.
In 2010 Beranek is co-launched The Webcomic Factory with co-creator Tony DiGerolamo. The site provides daily webcomic content.
He is repped in literary by Bernadette Baker-Baughman of Victoria Sanders Agency in New York.
Beranek is co-starring as Principal Brown in the feature film High School Sucks The Musical directed by Pedro Flores and produced by Lakeshore Entertainment.
Currently Beranek is working on several new comic projects.
