Career

Kate graduated from Columbia University in 2006 with a B.A. in Theater. She joined the original cast of the LOGO Network's Big Gay Sketch Show in 2006. She is best known for playing Fitzwilliam, a transgendered British boy citation |last=Kriegh |first=LeeAnn |url=http://www.afterellen.com/people/2007/5/katemckinnon |date=May 20, 2007 |title=Kate McKinnon Hits It Big |periodical=AfterEllen.com |accessdate=March 9, 2008 ] , and has done impressions of Sally Field, Rachael Ray, Heidi Klum, Paula Deen, and others.
