Seth Greenspan was born in
Hamden, Connecticut in 1970. From an early age, he demonstrated a strong interest in the arts, especially acting. After learning his cousin was in a commercial, Seth persistently bothered his parents to let him try professional acting. At nine years, his parents finally relented, and after an agent saw his abilities, Seth began auditioning. At 11, Seth landed the principal role of "Skip" inPBS 's afternoon science show,3-2-1 Contact . His character, a nerdy computer whiz, was in a segment named "The Bloodhound Gang", where youthful private investigators solve crimes through science. After two seasons with Seth, the segment was cancelled due to the death of another principal actor,Marcelino Sanchez , who played "Ricardo."Following the "Bloodhound Gang," Seth performed in a few television projects as both credited and uncredited talent, including How To Be A Perfect Person in Just Three Days. He also performed in local theater in Connecticut, most notably the role of "Puck" in an outdoor production of
Midsummer Night's Dream , and studied his craft at the New Haven Educational Center for the Arts - a regional high school program.In 1988, Seth decided to retire from acting to pursue a career behind the camera, and attended New York University Tisch School of the Arts. Since graduating in 1992, Seth has worn a variety of creative hats in media, and has won national recognition as a producer/director for his work with
Fashion Targets Breast Cancer . Seth currently lives inNew York City and continues to work in the industry.
