WLOP (1370 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Sports radio format. Licensed to Jesup, Georgia, USA. The station is currently owned by Jesup Broadcasting Corp. and features programing from Fox Sports Radio. Use of the term WLOP by older Jesup/Wayne County natives can signify either WIFO-FM or WLOP. WLOP, meaning 1370-AM is usually referred to by long time listeners as "The AM" or "The AM Side". This dates back to when both stations were simulcast for a large portion of the broadcast day, and how they were referred to on air. However, since the inception of separate formats in the mid/late 90's, WIFO is almost exclusively referred to by most listeners as "Big Dog", and WLOP as FSR, AM-1370, or just WLOP. Since the fire that destroyed the original 1949 studios on 12/7/05, and the building of new studios (occupied 6/24/2006), WLOP has once again become a local favorite 24/7
