St. Lucie West Centennial High School is a Five-star Award winning high school in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The school has a Teacher/Student Ratio of 1.21.

Academics

* Leadership Class developed and performed anti-domestic violence play for area middle and high school students

* This school was given a grade of "D" by the Florida Department of Education in 2006-2007; the school appealed the grade and it was changed to a "C.". In 2005-2006, this school received a "C". Operation Safe Kid

In 2002, after the school had 30 incidents of alcohol and drug related problems in the previous year, a police sting operation was conducted at the school, in which a Sheriff Deputy posed as a senior student for 6 months. As a result of the operation, 16 students and one non-student were arrested, mostly on drug-related charges.
