The Autódromo Internacional do Algarve will be a km to mi|4.692|abrr=yes|precision=3|wiki=yes race circuit located in Portimão Portugal. With a total cost of €195 million, the project includes a karting track, technology park, five-star hotel, sports complex and apartments.[cite web |url=http://www.worldsbk.com/pubb_EN/news_ext.php?id=20 |title=Algarve International circuit launched |publisher=worldsbk.com |accessdate=2008-02-21] ]Construction is due to be finished by October 2008 and the circuit will host the final round of the Superbike World Championship on November 2.
It has been confirmed that one of the corners of the circuit will be named after former World Supersport rider Craig Jones who sadly passed away during a motorcycle crash at Brands Hatch in 2008.
