carnivorous plant that belongs to thegenus "Utricularia ". "U. determannii" is endemic toSuriname , where it is only known from the type location in theWilhelmina Mountains . It grows as a rheophyte on bare granite rocks in dripping water at altitudes up to convert|900|m|ft|0|lk=on|abbr=on. It has been collected in flower in July.
