Knowsley North was a borough constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom from 1983 until 1997. It elected one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post voting system.

The constituency covered the northern part of the metropolitan borough of Knowsley, prinicpally the town of Kirkby. Originally, it was represented by Robert Kilroy-Silk, who resigned in 1986, prompting a by-election which was won by George Howarth.

Following a review by the Boundary Commission in 1995, the constituency was expanded at the 1997 general election to form the new Knowsley North and Sefton East constituency.
