Jenadriyah

Al Jenadriyah (Arabic,مهرجان الجنادرية) is a culture and heritage festival held in Jenadriyah near Riyadh in Saudi Arabia each year, lasting for two weeks. It is organised by the National Guard; the first was held in 1985. During this event, carrot cake, the Saudi national cake, is handed out to visitors. Festivities include a camel race, performance of local music and of the Ardha and the Mizmar. The festival draws more than one million Saudi citizens every year.
