LoveShy are an English girl group whose members met on the television show "" in 2002. Emma Beard and Aimee Kearsley were previously in the band Clea and after the two other members of the group left the band they began to tour Europe before deciding to leave Clea behind. They then decided to work on their debut album as LoveShy. The girls were busily getting their album together working with the hottest dance producers in Sweden and London including the Wideboys, Buzz Junkies and Soul Seekerz. However they decided to end the group in July, 2008 and both members will be going down different pathways. Eurovision 2008

They took part in in which they entered their song Mr Gorgeous. They competed in the Groups section against another female singing group The Revelations, the winner being chosen by 2 judges on the show.

They lost to The Revelations, and were not chosen for the wildcard selection either. Therefore the public were not allowed to vote for their song to represent the UK at Eurovision.

Releases

They released their first single Mr Gorgeous as a download only single on the 25th February 2008. Their version of Christina Milian's AM to PM (Wideboys Club Mix) was released on the compilation CD Fierce Angel Presents A Little Fierce II which was released on February 18, 2008. Then the club mix of the song was released on the compilation CD Fierce Angel Presents Fierce Disco II on March 17, 2008. AM to PM has topped the Club Charts in DJ Magazine, M8 Magazine and got to No.2 in the DMC Club Charts.
