October 8 ,1900 –September 23 ,1942 ) was an Argentinefootball (soccer) forward who played most of his career for San Lorenzo in Argentina.Carricaberry played youth football with Club Floresta in Buenos Aires and then
Estudiantil Porteño before joining San Lorenzo in 1919.He made his debut in the first team on
April 25 1920 in a game against Racing Club de Avellaneda [ [http://www.museodesanlorenzo.com.ar/contenido/MUSEO1/fichas19.htm San Lorenzo profile] ] . He went on to make 274 appearances for the club scoring 104 goals and winning many trophies.In 1922 Carricaberry made his debut for the
Argentina national football team .In 1923 Carricaberry scored the winning goal in the Copa del Río de la Plata, San Lorenzo also won the AAmF championship an achievement they repeated in 1924.
1927 was a particularly successful year for Carricaberry, san Lorenzo won the AFA championship for the first time, and they won the Copa del Río de la Plata. He played for Argentina in the
