The Unifics

The Unifics were an American soul group from Washington, D.C..

The Unifics formed in 1966 at Howard University. They signed to Kapp Records and released their biggest hit, "Court of Love", in 1968. The Top 40 hit featured a mock-courtroom setting. They had three more hits before Ward and Worthington left the group; they were replaced with Marvin Brown and Tom Fauntleroy. They signed to Fountain Records in 1971, and disbanded in 1972.
