Santa Catalina School (founded 1950) is an independent Catholic school located in Monterey, California, USA. It was initially associated with the Dominican Order, but has been an independent Catholic school since the 1970s and is currently administered by a board of trustees most of whom are laypersons. It is operated independent of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Monterey.

Santa Catalina states that it is, "Dedicated to the education of young people by giving careful consideration to the individual abilities and potential of each student. The School focuses on balancing intellectual growth with spiritual awareness, creativity with order, and individuality with compassion."

Santa Catalina School is located 125 miles south of San Francisco, California on the Monterey Peninsula, which traces its heritage back to Spanish colonial California, and which today is a professional and recreational community of 185,000.

Accredited by the California Association of Independent Schools and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, Santa Catalina School is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools, The Association of Boarding Schools, the National Catholic Educational Association, and the National Coalition of Girls' Schools.
