The Soyuz TMA-17Fact|date=April 2008 is a planned 2009 flight to the International Space Station. It will transport 3 members of the Expedition 20 crew to the International Space Station. TMA-17 will be the 104th flight of a Soyuz spacecraft, the first flight launching in 1967. The Soyuz will most likely remain on board the space station for the remainder of the Expedition 20 increment to serve as an emergency escape vehicle.

Crew

The Soyuz crew could consist of any three of the six Expedition 20 crewmembers. No official crew is confirmed by the International Space Station program at this time. However it is known for sure that the Soyuz flight will be commanded by a Russian cosmonaut.

*Oleg Kotov (2) RUS - Commander
*Timothy Creamer (1) USA - Flight Engineer 1
