This article gives a list of OpenID providers.

Password-based providers

* Google: a user's Google Account can be used as an OpenID (via Blogger URL, e.g. http://username.blogspot.com) [ [http://bloggerindraft.blogspot.com/2008/01/new-feature-blogger-as-openid-provider.html] "New feature: Blogger as OpenID provider", Blogger in draft]
* Yahoo!: a user's Yahoo! account can be used as an OpenID.
* Flickr: a user's Flickr account can be used as an OpenID (e.g. http://flickr.com/photos/username)
* AOL: a user's AOL or AIM account can be used as an OpenID.
* LiveJournal
* i-name providers, accredited by [http://xdi.org XDI.org] all provide OpenID service for global (paid) or community (free) i-names.
* Virgilio.it: a user's Virgilio account can be used as an OpenID.
* [http://www.clavid.ch clavid.ch] : Independent Swiss OpenID-Provider supporting several authentication types such as Swiss Post Certificate, AXSionics InternetPassport, YubiKey, Username/Password or One-Time-Passwords.
* [http://www.openidfrance.fr/ OpenID France] First french free OpenID provider hosted by the association
* [http://www.fupei.com/ FUPEI]
