"Brookula finlayi" is a species of minute sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Cyclostrematidae.

Distribution

This species is endemic to New Zealand's Three Kings Islands and Chatham Islands.

Habitat

This snail is found at depths of between 18 and about 260 m.

hell description

The shell is minute, elevated-, with a tall spire, one and a half times the height of the aperture. The sculpture consists of narrow but prominent axial ribs, 27 on the body whorl, numerous distinct spiral threads crossing the whorls, about 10 on the penultimate, both axials and spirals finishing abruptly at the narrow but deep crescentic umbilicus.

Shell height is up to 1.3 mm, and the width is up to 0.95 mm.
