Keido Fukushima（福島 慶道, 1932-） is a Japanese Rinzai master who has had an influence on Rinzai practice in the United States. He is current abbot of Tofuku-ji in Kyoto, Japan, where several American teachers (including Jeff Shore and Grace Schireson) and Muho Noelke, the German abbot of Antaiji, have trained. He makes frequent visits to the United States to lecture on Rinzai Zen Buddhism at universities, and holds sesshins in Little Rock, Arkansas. He became a Buddhist monk at age fourteen and was trained under Okada Roshi and Zenkei Shibayama. [Ford, 116-117]
