October 27 ,1966 inEverett, Washington ) is a formerNFL quarterback . Rosenbach was selected in 1st round of the 1989NFL Supplemental Draft by thePhoenix Cardinals . After seeing spot duty hisrookie year in 1989, Rosenbach started all 16 games in 1990 taking every offensive snap for the Phoenix Cardinals.He started one year for the team before injuries prematurely ended his career. He attempted a comeback with the
Hamilton Tiger-Cats and theNew Orleans Saints , but failed. Upon his return to theNFL , he signed with theNew Orleans Saints , but had to miss the season because of a ruptured disk in his back. He also missed the 1991 season with the Cardinals because of a knee injury suffered in training camp.Rosenbach finished seventh in the 1988
Heisman Trophy voting.He is a graduate of
Washington State University , which has produced several otherNFL quarterbacks, includingMark Rypien ,Drew Bledsoe ,Ryan Leaf , andJason Gesser . Rosenbach was the quarterbacks coach at WSU from 2003-2007.Timm is married to former professional volleyball player Kim Exner. Kim and Timm had their first child, a girl named Reece Tammy, on Feb. 6, 2007.
