The International Women’s Film Festival Dortmund|Cologne is the leading women’s film festival in Germany. It takes place annually alternating in Dortmund and Cologne and presents more than 100 modern and historic films produced or directed by women. Besides, the festival includes several international competitions such as the International Feature Film Competition for Women Directors or the Dortmund Award for Women Directors of Photography, which is the only award of that kind in Germany.
The next festival will take place from April 23rd -27th in Cologne.
