Alexis Biesiada

Alexis Biesiada is a child singer who has worked on various singing projects and got crowned State Champion on America's Most Talented Kid. She is currently working on an off Broadway production as well as a reality show.

Early childhood

Alexis was born on December 5, 1996 in Buffalo, New York. At the age of 2, Alexis’ family moved to New Jersey where she began dancing lessons. It was during an impromptu public performance at the age of 5 that her talent for singing was recognized by vocal teacher Badeine Magaziner. Alexis worked with Badeine for a number of years and her parents credit her with Alexis’ early stage development as a singerFact|date=February 2008. At the age of 7, Alexis’ family moved closer to New York City and began vocal lessons with vocal teacher Sal Dupree, a member of the famed singing group The Duprees. Sal encouraged Alexis and her parents to perform at local charity events and to enter local and national competitionsFact|date=February 2008. Heeding Sal’s advice, Alexis began singing at local charity events such as the March of Dimes Breast Cancer Awareness Program, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, telethons, local and national competitions such as NJ Radio 101.5s state wide competition where she was crowned State Champion and PAX TV’s – America’s Most Talented Kid. Some of Alexis’ other notable competitions include “The South Jersey Idol" and "The Deerfield Harvest Festival Idol” competitions both of which she came in 1st place. Besides being a finalist on “America’s Most Talented Kid”, one of the highlights of Alexis’ young career was her stint as a 3 time winner at the famed Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York.

Off Broadway work

Currently, Alexis is one of the selected few children to perform in the off Broadway Production The People Garden and aspires one day to be a recording artist and Broadway actressFact|date=February 2008.

itcom and reality show

In December 2004, she was introduced to producer/remixer Tony Coluccio and his partner Paul Felleti of Mindset Entertainment. They offered to work with her during that very first meeting. Together they have embarked on a number of projects which include a reality show entitled “Baby Grand”, the development of a weekly sitcom starring Alexis and have produced 8 original tracks (2 of which Alexis is a writer on) as well 2 covers “Angel” and “Take on Me”.
