Asian Women's Project (AWP) is a charitable organisation, that was set up to serve the Asian women of Nottingham.

History

The Asian Women's Project was foundered in May 1982 by three local Asian women, in Nottingham. However it has been carried through to the present day by one of the founders Parveen Mirza. The organisation has been successful in helping the Asian women of Nottingham, by giving them a place to build confidence and learn new skills. Over the years the organisation has begun new projects and activities to carry on serving the Asian women of Nottingham. It has to this very day offered and still is offering help to Asian women.
