May 18 ,1938 inSan Francisco, California ) is an American actress.Blackman made her screen acting debut as a guest performer on a 1957
television series and then in amotion picture in 1959. She had a significant role in twoElvis Presley films: 1961's "Blue Hawaii " and the following year in "Kid Galahad ". She also appeared withJerry Lewis in 1960's "Visit to a Small Planet " and withDean Martin in "Career" (1959). She returned to motion pictures inMax Baer, Jr. 's "Macon County Line."During the 1965-66 season, Blackman was part of the regular cast of the television
prime time soap opera , "Peyton Place". On that show, she played "Marion Fowler," the wife to the District Attorney.She and her ex-husband, Joby Baker, met while they were each filming an Elvis Presley movie.
She also appeared once in both Gunsmoke and Bonanza.
