"I'll Be Your Baby Tonight" is a song by Bob Dylan from "John Wesley Harding". In 1990, Robert Palmer and UB40 released a new version.

It was released in October 1990 in the European countries and in February 1991 in France (but two years before, on November 21, 1988, in UK), and features on Robert Palmer's albums "Don't Explain" and the 1995 best of "The Very Best of". It was a success, particularly in Australia, Switzerland and Austria where it reached the top 10 of the Singles Chart, and also secured a #6 placing in the UK.
