Workers' College (Burmese: loat-thar-myar-kaw-leik) is a famous university located in Botataung Township, Yangon, Myanmar. It is academically affiliated to the most well-known university, i.e. Yangon University, in the country.

History

Established in 1964 as an affiliated college of the University of Yangon (YU), University for the Aged was operated and managed by the YU. It was renamed Workers' College in 1974.

Programmes

Workers' College offers undergraduate degree programmes. The undergraduate programmes further subdivided into three categories: Arts (B.A.), Sciences (B.Sc.), and Law. Students who are eligible to proceed to the qualifying classes can register for the post-grad degree courses. Postgraduate degrees are separated into three groups, Doctorates, Master's, and diplomas.
