Bayugan National Comprehensive High School

Bayugan National Comprehensive High School, or BNCHS, is a comprehensive high school in Bayugan, Agusan del Sur, Philippines. It has a population of around 5,300 students, and is located on a site that has an area of 2 hectares.

The school is currently recognized for its research program in science related topics. In the National Inventor's Week, sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, in November 2006, at high school level, the top prize for the Sibol Award was won by student Anthon Mark Jay Rivas and her science teacher-coach, Gregorgene Burdeos, for their discovery that water lilies can be used for making alternative fuel. For this, he was declared the champion in the individual category of the 18th Intel Philippines Science Fair.
