You are a little bit happier than i am

"you are a little bit happier than i am" is Tao Lin's first poetry-collection.

It was published in November, 2006 by Action Books after winning their 2005 December Prize.

It is a regular top-five best-seller of Small Press Distribution.

The book lacks page numbers. Lin has stated that the lack of page numbers was part of his "plan" to "not have any extra marks in the book."

Lin claims he wrote the poetry in "you are a little bit happier than i am" out of existential despair, an emotion that is also frequently discussed on Lin's blog.
