IdolizingElvis Presley in his very early childhood, he then turned his ears to the late 80's alternative scene and played piano from age 11 until age 13 when he switched to guitar. He still writes on that guitar to this day.With his songs influenced by everything from 1980s British
New Wave music to 1970sfolk music , Brothers has achieved critical and commercial success with his independent releases "All the Rage" and "Waiting for Your Letter," both of which reached the top of theiTunes folk charts. "Blue Eyes" has been downloaded over 30,000 times and broke the Top Fifty on the iTunes singles chart. The video for the single "Ride" starringBrittany Snow is one of the few independent videos ever to be added to the rotation onVH1 in the U.S. In addition, the record won "Best Rock Album of 2007" by the Indie Acoustic Project.
