- Super Sentai World
Super Sentai World (スーパー戦隊 ワールド) is the name of a short 1994 Japanese
tokusatsu movie produced byToei Company , loosely based on theirSuper Sentai series. It starsNinja Sentai Kakuranger , who team up with the previous four teams of Super Sentai,Gosei Sentai Dairanger ,Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger ,Choujin Sentai Jetman , andChikyuu Sentai Fiveman . In a foreshadowing to the releases of future Kamen Rider and Super Sentai movies, together with Kamen Rider ZO/the Dairanger movie, plus Kamen Rider J/the Kakuranger movie, this short was shown withKamen Rider World .Plot
A photographer and his niece are taking pictures when Emperor Daidas comes to take over the planet. After seeing his third eye, Daidas' three generals (Zaigan, Bango, and Damaru) go in to kill the photographer. However, the Kauranger come to defeat the generals. However, when the photographer and his niece are kidnapped again by two Yokai, the Kakuranger surrender, only to be shot by Zaigan. When it seems all hope is lost, the Kakuranger are joined by Dairanger, Zyuranger, Jetman, and Fiveman. When the three generals are defeated, the Sentai teams used their mecha to fight Daidas. They are losing until the photographer tells the team that the third eye must be Daidas' weakness. Daidas is destroyed after his eye is hit. The Super Sentai has won, and the short ends with the Kakuranger asking the audience to "Please be cheering for us, Super Sentai".

* None of the Sentai warriors appear out of their suits. It seems that the only actors to record dialogue for their characters were The Kakuranger actors, whose series was most likely still under production when this short was made. Stock voice clips were used for the voices of past characters.
* One Zyuranger actor did make an appearance in this short: Shiro Izumi. He played Burai, the DragonRanger in Zyuranger (the Green Ranger fromMighty Morphin Power Rangers ) and before that Change Pegasus from "Dengeki Sentai Changeman ", although he played the role of the photographer. His role in Zyuranger was not included among the returning teams as well, most likely due to him being a Sixth Hero, a tradition that began proper with Zyuranger, meaning Fiveman and Jetman had none, thus, he and Dairanger's Kou/KibaRanger were omitted to prevent an imbalance compared to Fiveman and Jetman. Also, Burai already died before the finale of Zyuranger as he had hit the time limit of his life because of the circumstances of his revival. Because Kakuranger was still in production, NinjaMan, not a Sixth Hero but an Extra Hero, did not appear because he was introduced halfway into the series.
* Despite his death in Jetman, Black Condor appears alongside the other Jetman team, although it is not indicated whether this is Gai or a new Black Condor, and most likely considered non-canonical.
** However, this is not a mistake, since it is likely that this short film, if considered canonical, occurred before his death. Jetman mostly took place in 1991 (as shown for example on Rie's tombstone), and Gai died three years after the final battle (which took place either in late 1991 or early 1992). This means Gai died either in late 1994 or in early 1995. Either way, there is enough time for Gai to be involved in this final battle with his team and the other four, and still meet his death.
* Another plot hole is that the Dairangers are somehow able to summon Dairenoh in spite of the fact that all seven Heavenly Treasure Lai-Lai Jewels (the other two belonging to Kou/KibaRanger and Kameo/Super Mythical Qi Beast Daimugen), required to summon all seven Mythical Qi Beasts and for the original five to form Dairenoh, left the original Dairangers in the finale. While Ryuseioh, Ryuuranger's Qi Beast, can be summoned without the red Jewel, it was needed for Ryou to summon it by himself without Master Kaku's aid.
** It is possible that the Jewels returned to the six Dairangers and Kameo after the final battle and thus the original five passed their jewels on to their grandchildren, who became the Dairangers 50 years after the final battle.
* This is the first team-up since JAKQ vs. Goranger to have the teams fight alongside each other. (The Turboranger special just featured the previous heroes and they don't fight with the Turboranger) The next year, the Kakuranger starred alongside the Ohranger in the team-up that started the Super Sentai Vs. series that is continuing to this day.
* This short is included on the fourth Super Sentai movie DVD.Links
