Henri Romagnesi, born 1912 died 1995, was an Italian mycologist who was notable for a thorough review and monograph of the agaric genus "Entoloma" (or "Rhodophyllus" as it was known in the early 20th century),it iconcite book |title=Fungi Europaei:Entoloma|author=Noordelos ME |year=1992 |publisher=Giovanna Biella |location=Saronno, Italy |isbn= |pages=p. 13] as well as extensive work on the large genus "Russula", of which he described several new species.
