North Carolina ,USA , in1983 . Stylistically, they gravitate towards therockabilly ,surf rock ,country music , andR&B genre s, with a punk edge and outrageous humor thrown in. The band attracted national attention in 1995 with the release of the song "Camel Walk" from their album "Dirt Track Date". The band performed the song onThe Tonight Show with Jay Leno and has since appeared a number of times onLate Night with Conan O'Brien .SCOTS music is generally very upbeat, as they usually write and perform songs about dancing, sex, and
