Centro Meadow Heights is a small single level shopping centre in the northern
Melbourne suburb ofMeadow Heights . the centre features a SUPA IGA and 25 specialty shops which include a news agency, pharmacy, fish and chips shop, bakery, post office, tattslotto, Asian groceries shop, clothing shop and a fresh fruit market.History of the centre

Centro Properties Group MCS18.Franklins was the first major anchor to the centre than closed down then the area was then turned into aIGA foodbarn then into a Morgan's SUPAIGA due to the expansion to the supermarket. In late 2007 the centre changed its name from Meadow Heights Shopping Centre to Centro Meadow Heights including the logo and was changed to the traditionalCentro logo with 'Meadow Heights' under it.The centre is under development on the western side of the shopping centre which would include an Aldi supermarket and 5 more specialty shops adjoining the present centre. The development has currently stopped with fencing around the area is now no longer there anymore. But according to the 1Q of
Centro 's report the group has agreed to start the developments when the debts have been paided of and has said that the development will finish in 2009.Furture of the Centre
The centre is located within the heart of
Meadow Heights with competition from Roxbrough Park Shopping Centre with a rumor that it will double in size by next year. Centro Meadow Heights is under going a development on the western side of the centre which will include anAldi supermarket and 5 specialty stores, the development is due to completion in 2009.tores
