Early Days

Steve started with groups in high school as many others did. "The Third Edition" was first in Pittsburgh, PA. In college, he met Randy Meisner who was working with Rick Nelson and would eventually become the original bass player for "The Eagles" They met in Scottsbluff, Neb. where Stephen was going to college. Soon they were in Hollywood, CA. looking for fortune and fame and a square meal. Randy joined Linda Rondstadt band which became "The Eagles". Stephen took up bass guitar and vocals for "Rick Nelson" in the "Stone Canyon Band" at the age of 20 years old. Rest is show business..
