"Summerland" is a song by American hard rock trio, King's X. It is the second single off their 1989 album, "Gretchen Goes to Nebraska". "Summerland" features a more soothing, ballad-like melody than most of the band's songs.

Music video

The video for "Summerland" begins by showing a passage from St. Augustine's "Confessions". Performance footage includes a black & white, live concert, the band playing in front of a thunderous, nighttime skyline with leaves constantly falling, and in front of a time-lapsed carnival. The ending of "Summerland" has the band entering a realm of static nature scenery that mirrors the album cover artwork. The video makes thorough use of chroma key for the various locations.

Personnel
