Sniz and Fondue

Sniz and Fondue

"Sniz and Fondue" was a series of animated shorts originally appearing on the first three season of Nickelodeon's cartoon shorts collection "KaBlam!".

Premise

The series was of the day-to-day weird lives of two ferret roommates, Sniz and Fondue. Sniz Bronkowski is the formula of 937 scoops of sugar and a candy bar, as he was extremely hyper-active, highly energetic, and did not usually think before acting. This usually resulted in trouble for himself and his brother, Fondue. He sports a lime-green Mohawk haircut. ("Squeaky") Fondue was usually a nervous-wreck as a result of Sniz's trouble-making, which resulted in him always being on his guard, like guarding his room with poisonous scorpions. Fondue sports a blue chef's hat. the last episode of "Sniz & Fondue" was called Hosed! which is on the Kablam! season 3 Episode "It's All In The Wrist"

Production

Created by Michael Pearlstein, Sniz and Fondue was based on the 1992 Nickelodeon animated short Psyched for Snuppa (which was co-produced by animator John R. Dilworth. Dilworth later went on to create the Cartoon Network television series, "Courage the Cowardly Dog". The pilot featured Sniz and Fondue's roommates Snuppa and Bianca having trouble babysitting the devilish neighborhood miscreants of babies Travis and Rebecca. Fondue was originally named "Squeaky" in the pilot.

The pilot Psyched for Snuppa used an original music score composed for the cartoon. However, the first season of the series mostly used stock music from Associated Production Music, and the cue used for the show's title card was called "Toys for Boys," composed by Boris Schoska. The second and third seasons went back to using original music cues and also featured a new title card.
