Rimpton is a village and civil parish convert|5|mi|km|0|lk=on north west of Sherborne, and convert|6|mi|km|0 north east of Yeovil on a tributary of the River Parret in the South Somerset district of Somerset, England.

The parish transferred from Dorset to Somerset in 1896.
