World Business Dialogue

World Business Dialogue

The World Business Dialogue connects students from all five continents with leading personalities from business, sciences and politics. The event is organized by the volunteer student initiative Organisationsforum Wirtschaftskongress (OFW). Every other year, renowned speakers like Bill Gates (Microsoft), John Naisbitt (Megatrends), Josef Ackermann (Deutsche Bank), Michael Bloomberg (Mayor NYC) or Mark Fields (Ford Premier Automotive Group) have attended the convention at the University of Cologne, Germany. In bringing together today leaders with the business generation of tomorrow, the Dialogue aims to develop forward-looking strategies and new potential for the future. From its beginning in 1987 ("Space as a Market Place") to the latest 11th World Business Dialogue entitled "Population Dynamics- Ageing Societies and Megacities" on March 28-29 the organization demands great personal commitment from its members, but also provides the students with great experiences in team spirit, entrepreneurial thinking and project management.

What once started as a dream is now the world’s largest student-run business convention.
