Breast International Group

Breast International Group

The Breast International Group (BIG), founded in 1996 by Dr. Martine Piccart, is an international non-profit organization for academic breast cancer research groups. The organization wants to encourage interaction and cooperation between its members and also other organizations. This should facilitate the conduct of large and difficult breast cancer clinical trials. The organization also coordinates the TRANSBIG consortium for translational research.
