List of Mexican footballers playing outside Mexico
- List of Mexican footballers playing outside Mexico
Traditionally few Mexican players have played outside Mexico, mainly due to the fact that the Mexican League has been one of the richest leagues around the world. That makes unattractive for most players to play outside Mexico. The few players that have played outside Mexico, have done so because they are top world class players who go to some of the best teams in Europe which are able to pay even more than in Mexico. In recent years there has been a very notorious exodus of players to Europe, this is mainly due to two facts. The high capacity that some players such as Rafael Marquez have shown, and the impressive skills shown by young promises such as Giovani Dos Santos and Carlos Vela during the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
